Five nights in Olímpia in September 2022. It's in the north-west of São Paulo state and the entire local economy is built on hot springs and water parks.

Stay

I stayed at the Wyndham Hotel, which has a special entrance to the water park. The hotel has a great infrastructure and nice food. I decided to not get any meal as part of my hotel package because I was spending most of my day in the parks and mostly having lunch there.

Transport

I went there by car. It's around 400km from Indaiatuba. I went to two parks (as mentioned in places), and the best way to transport is by car. I can't see myself taking a bus there, but once you're there, Uber could work as well.

Places

• Hot Beach: One of the water parks. It's not that big as the other, but it's nice and less crowded.
• Thermas dos Laranjais: The larger and better known of the two parks in town. They even have a rollercoaster in the water, which is fun. Prepare for long queues depending on when you go.
