Denver was the bookend of my Boulder trip in February 2019: I landed here on the 21st, went straight up to Boulder, and came back down on the 25th to spend a day and a night in the city before flying out.

Transport

Denver International is a long way from the city — the train from the airport into Union Station is the sensible option, and there's a direct bus from the airport up to Boulder if that's where you're headed.

In the city itself I walked, with a couple of car rides to cover the longer gaps. City Park is not really walkable from downtown.

Places

• Denver Museum of Nature & Science: On the far side of City Park. Spent most of the day there and enjoyed it!
• Aerospace museum: Many different aircrafts to see, pretty cool.
• Ballpark and LoDo: The lower downtown area around 20th Street, which is where I ended up in the evening.

Food

• Ophelia's Electric Soapbox: A restaurant and music venue on 20th Street. This is where I spent most of my evening.
