I went to Batalha in a single trip that day trip in April 12th, 2019. From Lisbon, we did Fátima,Óbidos, and Nazaré.

It was a quick stop of about an hour to see the monastery of batalha. It's quite nice, but there's not much else to see, it seems.

• Monastery of Batalha: The reason to stop. A UNESCO site, late Gothic and Manueline, built to mark the Portuguese victory at Aljubarrota. The Unfinished Chapels at the back is worth visiting.
• Monument and Museum to the Unknown Soldier: In the chapter house of the monastery, on Largo Infante Dom Henrique.
